Marked Maison Dubois Delahaye, Tours. Two oval platters, chip to edge of one, W 15 1/2". 10 dinner plates, Dia. 10". 12 plates, Dia. 6".

Descended in the family of William Weightman. The porcelain was used in his house in Mt. Airy, outside Philadelphia where he entertained lavishly. After his death, that house, Raven Hill, was given to the catholic church. They converted it into a girl's school. The porcelain has been in the family for over 100 years, thence by descent.
