Gilbert "Amphion" Shelf Clock
Winstead, Connecticut, c. 1885, walnut and ebonized case with applied carved moldings, beveled etched mirrored side panels flanking the dome-top door with decorated glass, 5-in. printed paper dial over the eight-day time and strike movement, regulated by a pendulum with etched mirrored bob. Partial label on reverse.

Dial is an old replacement. Case has an old finish.
