Tsar Alexander II (1818-1881) - Decanter and Tumbler from his personal service

Imperial Russian Glass Manufactory, St. Petersburg, circa 1835. Crystal glass with the Russian monogram on the front in enameled and hand painted "Zwischengold" - Glass technique, the letter "A" on an ermine canopy beneath the grand ducal coronet. Prism cut on the sides. Faceted stem, round base with a cut star on the bottom with silver mounts to tumblers. Cut glass, silver and enameled bearing the monogram of Alexander II. Made in the Russian Imperial factory.
