19th Century English, Red Lacquer Chinoiserie Specimen Cabinet

A fine 19th century, English specimen cabinet, on its base, finished in gilt decorated red lacquer. The cabinet fall front decorated with a chinoiserie scene of a kite flying, the sides with male and female chinoiserie figures, opening to a fitted interior embellished with various exotic birds and flowers resting on a similarly decorated base with cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet.
