Fine & Rare Monumental French Ormolu and Bronze Empire Clock

Circa 1810. Bronze, gilt bronze, and red griotte marble. Depicting Ceres teaching Triptolemus the art of sowing corn. Porcelain dial signed 'Maniere a Paris'. Bronze work attributed to Philippe Thomire (1751-1843) and Charles-Guillaume Maniere (1778-1812).
