Hugues Claude Pissarro is a French artist known for his genre, landscape, and seascape paintings, as well as his contributions to abstract and avant-garde art. Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, he is the grandson of famed Impressionist Camille Pissarro and the son of painter Paulemile Pissarro. Immersed in a rich artistic environment from a young age, he began exhibiting his work at 14 and was formally educated at the Ecole du Louvre and the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris. Continuing the family legacy, Pissarro developed a distinctive style that blends tradition with innovation, and he remains active in France and Ireland.
