The Death of Horatio Viscount & Baron Nelson of the Nile, Duke of Bronte in Sicily, Knight of St. Ferdinand and of Merit, Vice Admiral of the White, and Knight of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, published [date - early 19th century, after Devis's 1807 painting]. Dramatic below-decks scene aboard HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar, depicting the wounded Nelson reclining at center surrounded by surgeons, officers, and crew, with a hanging lantern overhead. Engraved inscription 'Painted by A.W. Devis' and 'Engraved by Wm. Bromley' with full dedicatory inscription 'To the British Navy this Plate... is most respectfully dedicated'.
